I’m delighted to be part of Cyclr, a great Eastbourne based startup. If only for the boy band type shots…

You may not know it, but Eastbourne’s home to a number of promising software companies. In the summer I was asked by Ian Pollard, the founder of Cyclr.com, to join his team and I jumped at the chance.

It’s not often you get the opportunity to work on a world changing project, and I truly believe Cyclr is one of them. In a nutshell, Cyclr allows non-programmers to link cloud services together in powerful ways.

Let’s say you’re using Mailchimp, Eventbrite and a CRM like Insightly. Cyclr’s drag and drop interface allows them to be connected together in minutes without having to write a line of code. This particular ‘cycle’ allows automated marketing to customers. Connecting other services together brings plenty more uses.

I work for Cyclr half the week as ‘Head of Partnerships’ which means I get out and about talking to people about what our service can do. I’m also helping with a Seedrs crowdfunding round so Ian can expand the team.

We’re off to TechCrunch Disrupt London next week. Exciting times!
