The ‘Going Local’ social prescription service we helped to build has won a prestigious Computing award
Last night ‘Going Local’ won in the not-for-profit category at the annual Computing Digital Technology Leaders awards. The shortlist is here.
This project was a partnership between Adur & Worthing Councils, West Sussex County Council and the West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group, and it was funded by the Local Government Association. We were asked to product manage and build the service on Adur’s Matssoft low code platform – a great way to prototype and iterate based on real needs discovered by the team. Here’s how the service works.
We were also asked to put together marketing material and technical documentation for the project so anyone could access our learnings and build similar products for themselves.
We really enjoyed this project and think the results speak for themselves. Here’s a tweet by Adur & Worthing’s Director of Digital and Resources, Paul Brewer.
Very proud of our #goinglocal digital service, which supports social prescribing, taking pressure off GPs. Good #localgov platform work!
